The work follows a thought caught in a circular trajectory, searching for its place within a mind marked by loss. Memories, emotions, and images surface and recede, confronting reason while revealing an enduring need for life.

Through movement, sound, and theatrical storytelling, the performers navigate a landscape shaped by remembrance and resilience. As the boundaries between past and present blur, 149 invites audiences to reflect on how trauma lingers across generations and the strength required to carry memory forward. The work is dedicated to all those who live alongside their memories, remember their loved ones, and find the courage to continue.

The work builds upon an earlier duet, Τα Φύλλα που Έμειναν (The Leaves that Remained), which first explored the memories and histories that inspired this creation. In 149, these questions return in a new form, expanding into a broader reflection on trauma, remembrance, and survival.
